I am currently using Fizz Up. So far so good. This is also a fitness app. You can choose workouts that cater to your goals. I like that they use a colored coded system to add or lose points. Green means you are working out as you should. Orange means you might have skipped one too many. Red means you haven’t worked out in five days.
I like that the app sends reminders when you are out of your workout rhythm so to speak. Also, the app checks in on you during your workout to see if the workout was too hard or too easy. They also have challenges too. I think this app is good for someone who needs reminders and encouragement to stay on track.

Plan to Eat is a meal planning app. I am a fan of this app, and I have previously written a blog post about how I use Plan to Eat. I use the app to store recipes. However, this can come in handy with so many New Year’s resolutions goals.
You can use it to make a meal plan for health and weight loss. You can use it as part of a larger plan to become more organized. You can also use it for family purposes as there is a social component as well.

A lot of productivity enthusiasts are fans of Notion. I have the Notion app on my phone. I like to use it to save internet links to articles or blogs that I want to read later on. Sometimes I use it to save my to do list items. I also use it to log things that I want to plan later. I have taken a few courses on Udemy and I have been satisfied. I have signed up for soap making, Pinterest marketing, and more. They have courses on Microsoft Excel, Python programming, and more. It is a good way for you to learn something new verses paying thousands of dollars at a university. I personally wait until the courses go on sale to sign up. That way I am getting a really good deal.
8. Coursera
Coursera is another app that is good for career and skill development. You can get online degrees or certificates with Coursera. I took and received my SQL for Data Science course certificate that was offered by UC Davis by using Coursera. The course I took was self-paced, and I was satisfied with how the course was ran.
Coursera offers you the opportunity to pick a career, and then they suggest what courses to take. You can subscribe to the courses or you can audit the courses for free. If you subscribe to the course and earn a certificate you receive an electronic certificate that can be shared to your LinkedIn profile.
9. Skillshare
Skillshare is another app that I have used. It is similar to Udemy only there is a monthly or yearly subscription fee for unlimited access to the classes on the app. They do have a 30-day free trial that you can sign up for before committing to a paid plan. I have taken a couple of courses using this app, and they are pretty good. They have courses for various areas such as photography, graphic design, music, learning a language, personal development, data science, and so much more. If you are wanting to focus on spiritual aspects of you life, then I highly recommend the Bible app. You would have access to several versions of the Bible, and you can access the Bible in different languages. There are reading plans and devotionals. They also have videos. You can also listen to the Bible on the app. The app is free, and I have been using the app for years. They do accept donations and volunteers if you want to contribute.
11. Duolingo
Is learning a new language one of your goals this year. Then I encourage you to check out Duolingo. I use Duolingo to learn Spanish, and I enjoy it. The Journal app on iPhone is great for recapping memories. It can be a stress reliever and is good for mindfulness. You can even sync your time journaling to the Health app on your phone.
